Taking better photos in Second Life
You can take photos in Second Life via the Snapshot icon at the very bottom of the buttons on the lefthand side of the window or through the World | Snapshot menu option or by pressing Ctrl + Shift + S. The default view in Second Life is a fish-eye lens type perspective. To counterract this, when zooming in on an avatar for a snapshot don't rely on the zoom functionality of the Camera Controls window (found second from right in the menu along the bottom of the main window). Instead use Ctrl + 0 to zoom in. Then you need to go into the Advanced Graphics Preferences window. You can find this via the Me | Preferences ... menu and then clicking on the Advanced Prefences ... button. In the Advanced Graphics Preferences window select the Anisotropic Filtering and enable Antialiasing. I selected 2x for this image.
